2023 Bulldogs

The 2023 season started off with a close 21-20 victory over long time rival Lake. The next three games, the 2023 Dawgs would stumble before finding their footing again in week four with a victory over the Newton Tigers on the road. Debuting the white helmets for the first time since the turn of the century, the Bulldogs would outscore the Tigers 48-35 starting a three game win streak with victories over district foes Southeast Lauderdale and McLaurin. The final two games of the season saw the 2023 team falling to Noxubee County in a first ever meeting and then a hard fought 35-36 loss to the eventual district champions Kemper County. The 2023 team would finish third overall in district play, and travel to the Class 3A Region 7 second place team, the 8-1 Wesson Cobras. The Dawgs would gut out a gritty 38-26 victory on the road. In round two, a trip to "The Jungle" and a matchup with the always powerful Jefferson Davis County Jaguars awaited. The 2023 team fought the speedy Jaguar team with all they had before falling 14-21 ending their season with an 5-6 record that in no way represents the fight and grit that this team had.

The 2021 Bulldogs moved up to the Class 3A, this was the first time that Enterprise ever competed in Class 3A. How did the 2021 Bulldogs respond to the change? They simply went undefeated with a 10-0 record in the regular season for the first time since 1987, they won the Class 3A Divison 5 Championship, the first division championship since 2006. In the playoffs they beat Seminary, then they knocked off the defending 2020 3A State Champion Magee Trojans before falling to the 2021 South State Champion Jeff Davis Jaguars. The 2021 Bulldogs would finish up with a 12-1 record.
