 THE STREAK BEGINS! 

In 1986 the Enterprise Bulldogs set in motion one of the most exciting seasons in school history. Using a stingy defense and a bruising running game, the 1986 Bulldogs led by Coach Jud Gartman and Coach Keith Gaines, took their famous Power I formation and ran through opposing defenses while harassing opposing offenses with their “Hold them Up” mentality on the defensive side of the ball.  The Bulldogs started off the season by outscoring their first three opponents by a combined score of 92-7 setting up a week 4 showdown with the Mt Olive Pirates, the team that eliminated them from the playoffs a year earlier. The Pirates put up little resistance as the Bulldogs avenged the loss from the year before 28-6. The Bulldogs ripped through the rest of the regular season finishing the regular season undefeated.  The Bulldogs capped off the season by dominating the 1A playoffs and outscoring their opponents 123-6 and winning their first State Championship finishing up the year with a perfect 13-0 record.  Go back to 1986 and re-live that magical season with us in its entirety.
